Hunter's Sunrise | Stories Behind the Art
Artwork and story
A bright opening above the mountains gives Hunter's Sunrise the expectancy of a day just beginning. A stag stands beside the river while a bird crosses the sky and smaller animals occupy the banks. The watcher remains outside the frame, leaving room for memories of patient observation, trusted companions and the particular pleasure of seeing a landscape slowly come into view.
