This restriction applies to every size and both sides of these designs: Pania; Pania ocean spirits; Tangaroa; Haka Group; Haka Solo v1; Maui v1; Tongaroa v1; Papatūnūku; Sea Warrior; Ocean Spirit; Lady of the River; Lady of the River v2; Whaea & Pepī; Gaia; Wahines; Cosmic Atua v1; Te Ao Marama.
Do not use either side of a display-only piece for food. This restriction does not designate ordinary wildlife and hunting boards as display-only.
Keep the engraved face out of water. Only for boards not designated display-only: after food use, quickly hand wash the unengraved reverse, dry it immediately and recondition with food-safe mineral oil or food-safe beeswax. Do not use olive oil.

Designated display-only sets: Lady of the River & Mother Nature; Masculine & Feminine Spirits; Tiki | Pepe | Aotearoa Mountains. Every piece in these sets is display-only.
Ordinary bird and hunting designs, the Forest / Forrest Set and Chatham bird sets are not designated display-only by this notice. The current Choose Your Four, Six and Eight sets offer bird and hunting designs.
For lacquer-finished slate coasters with glued feet. Wipe with a damp cloth, avoid submerging, and keep out of the dishwasher and away from extreme heat.

MDF coasters

Display-only pieces must not be used under cups or glasses, or for cutting, preparing or serving food. The restriction applies to both sides of designated display-only pieces.
The same designated individual designs and sets listed in the slate section are display-only in MDF / Wood. Functional use applies only to pieces not designated display-only.
For beeswax-finished MDF coasters. Do not wash. Maintain the finish with a suitable wax polish.
Aotearoa maps
For decorative MDF maps painted with acrylic paint, with no additional coating. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or soak. Support each piece when moving it and avoid pulling on fine cut-out details.

Crosses
For hand-painted MDF crosses with an acrylic paint finish and no additional coating. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or soak. If your cross has a base, refresh its mahogany cladding with a little beeswax-based polish when needed, keeping polish off the painted cross.
Engraved cleavers
Hand wash with warm water, mild dish soap and a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse well and dry the blade and handle thoroughly straightaway. Do not put your cleaver in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, and store it dry with the blade protected.
