The piece and what is included
Commercially sourced stainless-steel cleaver, engraved in our New Zealand workshop.
Overall length: approximately 302 mm.
Blade length: approximately 180 mm; blade height: approximately 78 mm.
Black handle with three visible rivets.
Matching engraved MDF box: approximately 340 × 125 × 60 mm, closed. Measurements may vary slightly.
Engraving and presentation
The engraving brings the scene into the steel. Any blue and purple tones visible in the actual photograph are heat-created colour from the engraving process.
We make and engrave the matching MDF box in our workshop. The cleaver itself is commercially sourced.

The pull of a day in the bush.

A duck hunter takes aim beneath the ferns as a bird lifts above the water. It is the feeling of being completely absorbed in a day outdoors.
